Shipping Address Confirmations
Hi Reader,
In preparation for shipping the first big batch of meters, we’ve sent out a shipping address confirmation request to all our Dragon Innovation backers! The email should look like this:
If you backed us on Dragon Innovation and for some reason did not receive a survey email, drop us an email ( hello@moosh.im ) and let us know if you’ve moved in the last year.
If you pre-ordered through our website after the crowdfunding campaign, you can change your shipping address through Celery’s system at trycelery.com.
The meters won’t all be shipped at once, and fresh meters are still coming off the calibration line. In practice, calibration has been the bottleneck for getting these devices finished. But about 500 are ready to go, so we’re going to start trying to fulfill our pre-orders!

They will be sent with tracking, so when your order is out the door you should receive a link :)

Great! The test shipment I mentioned in December went to France, it took a week in transit. Watch your email for a tracking number first :)

Great to see that the meters are finally ready. I just wanted to say thank you for the blog updates. it has been interesting watching as you made your way thru the many hurdles to get your product to market.
Yes, it was frustrating to have to wait as deadlines came and went, but not everyone is as disappointed as some of the commenters on the other blog post.

Agreed, people don’t seem to understand how crowd-funded projects work! I’ve enjoyed watching how it all unfolds and am looking forward to seeing the final meters.
As another backer in France, I do have one concern – do you know if we will be required to pay VAT and import duties when we receive our meters? I can’t recall if the original pledge was VAT inclusive or not.
(Techincally, items of less than €150 value shouldn’t be charged import duties, but – particularly with electronics – the postal authorities are quite happy to charge you anyway and let you try to sort it out later.)
The test shipment to France went through with no extra payment required by the receiver. That’s my only data point right now.

I got my email with tracking number this morning. I’m pretty sure I squealed when I saw it. Super excited to get the unit in hand to check it out. Running android though so ill probably have to wait a bit on the app but that is OK I know you guys will deliver.
Thanks guys, This is one of the few things I have ever crowd funded and I have really enjoyed the regular updates and professionalism you have all put forward. The insight into product development has been interesting to see as well. I have not contributed opinion wise since everyone else had already covered details I had thoughts on but wanted to give kudos for listening to your user base too.
I verified my shipping address on the 15th, so when is my meter shipping? Will I be notified of shipment? Will I be sent tracking information? I’ve already downloaded the iOS app to my phone and tablet, and its looking to pair with my new meter with no success… The app is very sad :(
Shipping out as fast as possible, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number! So far have shipped about half of domestic crowdfunding orders, tomorrow is first day of international orders.
Another 5 days have gone by with no tracking or notification… Is there anyway I can get an estimated shipping date at this point?
BTW: I ordered two crowdfunding units on February 5th 2014 (almost a year ago), and I am in the US.
