We need your help: Call for testimonials!
Dear Reader,
I designed the first Mooshimeter prototype in April of 2013. In the last 2 years it’s gone from idea to crowdfunding project to 1700 Mooshimeters in the wild. The feedback has been good and for the past few weeks I’ve been getting everything lined up for another production run.
Nothing sells a product better than seeing it being used in interesting real life situations. If you own a Mooshimeter, we would love to see and hear what you’re doing with it. A picture of it under the hood of your car, or buried in the back of your electrical enclosure, monitoring solar panels on your roof… etc, with a quick explanation of what you’re doing. Your pictures and stories will be used to create new advertising assets as we engage with distributors, and for a new testimonial page on the website. If we use your picture+story, we’ll send you a $40 transferable coupon for a Mooshimeter on the next manufacturing run. Please share with us on facebook or by email at hello@moosh.im.
Other Updates:
- YuKonstruct put up a nice instructable about using a Mooshimeter to measure solar panel outputs
- We’re bringing in outside contractors to help with the website and apps. New updates coming soon.
- Some users have said their larger (>8GB) SD cards for logging, the issue is being investigated.
- Mooshim Engineering was site of the day on EEweb!
More soon, thanks for reading

I use my Mooshi to monitor extruder temperature on my Zortrax M200 3D printer. I designed a nifty magnetic holder for it: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:817716.
I printed one or your holders on my flashforge. Thanks Julia!
Hi! Great news that you’re going for a second production run! Will you be changing the design at all? I’ve been following your project from a distance and like the idea immensely. I wanted to offer a suggestion – a lot of what I use my current meter for is simple continuity testing, on its ‘beep’ setting. Would it be possible to add this feature to the Mooshimeter, for use without a phone connected?
