This – and a lot of other user-defined functions – will be possible without having to be implemented in the app itself as soon as Broadcast Intents are properly working with both channels.

At leat in the beta app, it shoud be working already if only one channel is relevant, but this would be a provisional solution. Probably the communication parameters need to be changed in future to address the 2nd channel problem. (I read it somewhere, but I can’t find it again.)
