Ok. I’d prefer to pay a bit more and have the meter be able to do more processing on board. It does seem a *little* odd to have to log discrete time samples of an AC waveform, if all we want is a long term log of true power for a slowly varying load.

Btw, I’m surprised that the “measuring power” page in the Wiki has only a link to a solar panel setup – no mention whatsoever of AC power.
