Short version: Yes, 125Hz is the max rate at which you can configure to write to the log before the signal gets noisier than specs.
This implies that it is possible to configure the Mooshimeter to log measurements at a rate above 125Hz. The only way I can see to achieve >125Hz would be to use a sample rate of 8kHz, because the minimum buffer size appears to be 32 samples – correct?
However, I read in another thread (sorry no link at the moment) that 8kHz sampling is not reliable. Is that correct? If so, it appears to me that the maximum usable logging rate at the moment is 125Hz.
If it is true that 32 samples is the minimum, why is that the case? Why can’t we set it lower, if we don’t mind more noise in our measurements?
