Question a:
Yes, I have plans for this, realistically I think this is a few months away though. Mac support would be first because Apple was smart and uses the same CoreBluetooth library in iOS and OSX, so the Max application is mostly a matter of re-jiggering the iOS app.

Question b:
This should already be supported, but you may need to do a firmware update (not sure what version of meter firmware and iOS/Android apps you’re running). From the main “metering” page with the numerical outputs, there is a settings icon in the top right. This will show you a page of preferences where you can set the logging interval.
