GuestI am using an LG Volt with Android 4.4.2, and can see the meter in a scan but it will not pair or connect. When trying to connect I get “Connection failed. Status: 129” then “Connection timed out.”. I have checked and replaced the batteries, rebooted the phone and toggled the bluetooth several times. When I first tried to connect to the meter it did the firmware update without any errors. I have also forced it to reload the firmware twice but still unable to connect. I do have a faint led flash at aprox. 10sec intervals and a single longer flash when I try to connect.
I have also tried BLE Explorer. BLE will connect after several tries and display a list of info from the meter I assume.
Any thoughts?

KeymasterThat’s really odd – sorry it’s giving you trouble. It sounds like you’ve been through all the troubleshooting steps I usually recommend. The only other I might try would be to try to connect from an iOS device if it’s available. If that’s too much trouble we can try a replacement.

GuestI too have an LG Volt running Android 4.4.2 and it won’t stay connected. I also have a Samsung 8″ Tablet (model SM-T310) running the same Android version 4.4.2, and it connects and stays connected fine. So it isn’t my Mooshimeter. It must be something different with LG’s Bluetooth stack, but it would be really nice if it worked.

Thanks for the extra datapoint. I’m buying some LG devices to test with, in addition to the notes in the forum about LG Android devices I’ve received some emails about them as well. If I make a breakthrough I’ll post to the blog.
