When I first received the meter a year ago, it would connect first tape of the android app button. Hi, I just updated the firmware and app rev. and it requires between two and five attempts to connect before it finally does.
That’s quite strange… have you tried a fresh set of batteries? You can also try updating to an older version of the app and seeing if that makes a difference… you would lack some of the newer features but that might not be a problem for you. Here’s the stable release from Jan 30 2015.
