      Hi:

I haven’t used my meter in several weeks. When I connect it to my iPhone it shows FW Build: 14474 and when I select it I get a Firmware upload in progress screen with a % complete and time remaining. During this time, the LED shows quick flashing and I then get a Firmware upgrade complete message box indicating it was successful and the device needs to be reconnected.

Scanning again with or without first restarting the app, or rebooting the iPhone, or removing batteries from meter shows the meter but when I select it, it goes through the upload process again.

I have tried the reset switch process (the Android video) but I do not get a similar screen. App shows it is Version 1.06 (215).

      Help!

      Thanks,
      Dan

      Hi Iuvo,

Sorry for the delayed response. Can you try replacing the batteries in the meter? A known issue is that firmware uploads can fail silently if the batteries are too low.

Let me know how it goes,
      ~James

      Hi,

I have finally made the firmware update using my tablet and Android. IOS has been impossible.
Now the problem is that every time I connect with Mooshimeter, the program tries to install again the same firmware upgrade.
I tried to change batteries with new ones, but the problem remains the same.
I guess there will be some solution, right?

I’ll be very grateful if someone tells me how to solve this problem.
At the moment I can not use my Mooshimeter.

      Thanks

      Hi,

      Finally solved the problem.
Using the application of IOS, on the screen where the Mooshimeter appears, with the number of firmware and the level of the RF signal, and holding for more than 3 seconds, the software connects correctly with the meter, leaving the bootloader mode.
Now connect properly with my iPhone and my tablet with Android.

It would be very interesting to have a text document with history firmware versions (and software), explaining the changes in each version. Is a delay having to be investigating in the forum, to meet the new changes.

      Thanks

I am having the same issue. the meter will ask me for the firmware update all the time. I have tried new batteries and pressing them for 3s to connect to it, as per the post above. However, my mood meter keeps asking for firmware every time I try to connect to it.

      Firmware on meter: 1477971088
      New Firmware:1477971088

      I am using IOS 14.0.1.

I hope someone has an answere for this.

Strange behavior with mooshimeter could usually be solved with fresh batteries.
