I’ve seen my first question asked in here but it was not answered.

How do you change the background color in the Android App graphing? Mine has a white background which makes it harder to see. The Black background as shown in the documentation would be preferred.

Auto Rotate works in all my other apps, but does not work in the Mooshi app. I have to use the Graph button. Is this something that will be fixed in a new version?

      Thank you.
      Bob.

You can’t change the color, I’ve asked the same question two month ago. The black background is the IOS version.

Thanks Andreas. Any insight on whether auto rotate works in Android?

I can’t remember where I read it, but as far as I know, the rotate “feature” (switching between normal and graph screen by rotating the phone) is no longer available, as it has been replaced by the graph button sometime in the history.
Most of the product videos were obviously produced in an early stage of development and are seemingly not closely reflecting the actual behaviour of the mooshimeter and app, which might be confusing to new users.

You can’t change the color, I’ve asked the same question two month ago.

But seems that you never got an answer, right?

The black background is the IOS version.

Really? The background color is detminined by the OS? WTF? I don’t understand the sense.

And yes, I would also highly prefer an eye-friendly black background as shown in a lot of videos. (Or maybe switchable, to satisfy all needs once and for all… ;-) )

Upps, the quote tags don’t seem to have any effect. Sorry. (But in page source code, they are present.)

“Rotate to graph” was very annoying in real life.. Just as you got glimpse of the data you were after –> accidentally tilted your phone –> display changed –> data lost –> start again –> fail again –> 7th try –> good data –> show to friend –> tilt your phone –> fail.

Thanks for all the replies. At least I know I’m not having any problems with the app. Having the black background would be a plus, but its not a deal breaker. The meter works great. I’m already using it more than my Fluke 117.

      Hi guys,

Auto rotate – This was a feature available in earlier versions of the app, but I removed it by user request and added the “graph” button for the reasons @ville mentioned.

Graph color – The graphing code underwent an overhaul a few months ago adding some new features – like individual panning and zooming of the channels, and I changed the background color from black to white then. I did not have a scientific reason for doing it (I remember some complaints about the black background being ugly, but you can’t please everybody).

I added a github enhancement to allow graph color selection. I’ll try to get to it soon. Or if you are inspired, the code is open source and I merge changed pretty fast.
