GuestI need to graph voltage and frequency.Ford diesel generator transient testing.when the generator is hit with a heavy load I need to see how many hertz the speed slows down and how fast it recovers.

InactiveThere is one little problem. You can’t.
Mooshimeters original specs told that it could measure frequency, but my guess is that it ran out of memory before that was implemented. So standalone frequency logging wont probably ever happen..
But. It might be possible to do it on the app. We just need a skilled programmer. Those should be plentiful, but as we have been waiting for one, we have already made a long to-do list for someone that would stand up for the job.. My vote for first task goes to “free math”-channels.
You might want to check this:

while waiting for someone to code what you need for mooshimeter.Anonymous
GuestThe only way I could see the frequency is if i Calculated it from AC voltage in graph mode: buffered, and calculate it from the graph time…
It would be so simple to program into the app to do this, but it seams like they don’t care enough about the soft to make this small adjustment.I’d like to ask Mooshi Meter programmers (who wrote the app, and has the source code), to implement the calculation (simple math) and an option in the roll down menus for frequency…
Thanks.
Szabi.
