InactiveI tried today to bring the new beta firmware update to my Mooshimer. Unfortunately it does not work. (Firmware on meter 1470628829, New Firmware 1477971088) When I click on Start Upload the message “Scanning for meter in bootloader mode …” and then “Could not find meter!” Also the attempt with the reset button did not work. Does anyone have a solution to the problem? I have a link with a screen video of the update process specified.

InactiveI found the solution myself. The reason why the update did not work was that the batteries were half empty. After which I have used new batteries worked the update. I have to say that the logging function has become much better than in the beginning. Also the data can now be retrieved via Bluetooth or e-mail without removing the memory card is very good. What is still missing to improve the logging function is that the date and time display in the Mooshimer can be formatted in readable values. When testing, the app crashed two times and when reconnected, the Mooshimeter was in bootloader mode. A pressure on the reset button needed the device back to normal mode.

GuestUnder android, I have to kill the app completely from memory after upgrading the firmware. If not, the App means the mooshimeter is still in bootloader mode.
Regarding the timestamp, unix time (seconds since epoch) is a very compatible format and can easily converted in any other date/time format. There are many of date/time formats (with different time zones, daylight saving, etc.), I don’t believe that it’s possible to include them in the mooshimeter firmware. Maybe it’s possible to use the app for reformat when downloading, but this will not help users which use the sd card directly.

KeymasterHi BRA-KB,
Glad you got it working and thanks for the feedback. I put some more details on how to process the logs here: https://moosh.im/wiki/index.php/Processing_Mooshimeter_Logs
