ParticipantI’ve been doing some DC current and DC voltage measurements on iPhone 6, iOS 10 PB2, with app 1.07 (994), firmware 1467155160.
When I start the logging, about 5-10sec later the app seems to disconnect from the meter, the numbers stop updating but it stays on the “meter” screen. I can go back to the meter scan page and it shows disconnected. I can reconnect.
Anyone else seen this issue?

KeymasterHi Se4587,
I’ve been working on logging reliability and pushed a new iOS app update and firmware update yesterday, could you give them a try?
Thanks

ParticipantNew firmware/software logs great, thanks!
Does the meter set its clock when it talks to the phone? Just curious how it knows what time to put for each data point (in UTC apparently).
Thanks James!

KeymasterNo problem Seth,
Yes, the meter syncs time with your phone when you connect. If something causes a reboot while logging, the new firmware will examine the latest logfile and sync to the last successful log entry therein, so in an unexpected reboot event expect the time to shift a few seconds.
Being able to read and parse logs from within the firmware is another step forwards towards being able to stream logs out without removing the SD card, which is the next major feature goal.
Best
~James
