I have an iPhone (iPhone 8 Plus, with current firmware, version 11.4.1) and two Mooshimeters, both recently purchased. After connecting to either of these Mooshimeters, and pressing the gear icon, I see a “Meter Preferences” screen with several fields, of which the first is the “Name” field, with the instructions “set the device name” and a square button labelled “Set”. On pressing the “Set” button, I see an “Enter New Name” field and a pop-up keyboard. On using that keyboard to enter a name (to distinguish one of the two meters from the other), I press the “Ok” field, expecting to see the new name displayed.
But I am back to the same “Meter preferences” display, with the same name (“Mooshimeter V.1”) displayed at the top of the screen.
The other fields on the “Meter Preferences” screen (“Logging Interval,” “Shipping Mode,” “Reboot,” etc.) seem to function, but the “Name” field does not.
